CAWC/ACSP Bulletin Summer 2001
- CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: The Board of Directors of the CAWC is
calling for two new directors. The positions to be filled are both in
Nursing in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec. Nominations along with
a resume can be forwarded the Chairman of the Nominations Committee,

- The 7 th Annual
Conference of the CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF WOUND CARE flyer available
here!! Place and time: The London Convention Centre, London, Ontario,
CANADA November 1 - 3, 2001. Space is filling fast and we urge
you to register soon to take advantage of the early registration discount
and avoid disappointment.
- By early November, 2001, CAWC members will be able to apply for Scholarships
in areas of Research and Education. These scholarships, worth ~ $2,500.00
each, will be announced at the London
conference. The application form and further details will be posted
by September on the CAWC Web site under Scholarships.
- Conference flyer with all conference information will be up
on the site in both PDF and Web page format along with the new register
on-line capability
- CAWC is adding a day of Satellite Symposia to the London Conference.
This will be free for those who are pre-registered. Details will soon
be available on this Web site.
- Four full Ostomy Wound Management Articles
on the Best Practices for 1) Diabetic Foot Ulcers, 2) Pressure Ulcers
3) Wound Bed Preparation, and 4) Venous Leg Ulcers are now available
in the Clinical Practice
Library. These articles where written
by Directors of the CAWC.
