Co-operation Brings Expanded Member Benefits

The CAWC and the AAWC are pleased to announce a new level of co-operation between the two associations that will provide direct benefits to each association’s members.

The AAWC and CAWC have entered into a reciprocal agreement to allow each other’s members to take the full member discount when registering for either the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) in San Diego this April or the CAWC conference in Montreal this coming November. This arrangement will be offered on a trial basis for 2005 with the hope of making it an ongoing benefit in the future.

For CAWC members to take advantage of the member pricing for the SAWC, memberships must be in good standing through May 2005 and must follow the following process to register.

Visit the SAWC Web site at www.sawc.net and print the SAWC registration form. Complete the form and fax (do not submit online). Near the discount area of the form, write in "CAWC member" with your CAWC membership number and take the 20% discount. Members can save as much as $109 (US) depending on discipline type and the sessions chosen.

If you have already registered for the symposium and would like to request a refund for the difference in price, you must do so in writing to Sheila Donato at sdonato@hmpcommunications.com. Please include your name, address used when registering, your CAWC member number, and your symposium confirmation number (if known). Refunds may take up to 12 weeks and will be given in the same manner in which fees were originally paid (check or credit refund).
